Mas de la Lavande is a large restored provençal farmhouse, partly dating back to the 18th century, and surrounded by 5 acres of terraced land, with roses, lavender, rosemary, irises, olive trees and pine woods. The house overlooks the Luberon valley and mountain to the south, and to the north there are views as far as the Mont Ventoux. The large walled courtyard under the shade of a spreading fig tree is a perfect spot for outside eating. The property includes an astroturf tennis court, and a large swimming pool. This is an ideal, central location for exploring the rest of the Luberon, with its perched villages like Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Menerbes, Lacoste, and Lourmarin all a short drive away. |
