A tour of the rooms at Le Chateau Ocre in Roussillon, a vacation rental property in the heart of Provence.

  
 
 
 

Le Chateau Ocre is quirky and charming with bedrooms on two wings and a living room in between.

The kitchen is adjoined to a dining room (pictured above and right) with a big wooden table and raised fireplace.

  

 

 
 

The living room (above left and right) has a fireplace at one end and piano at the other, with comfortable seating for 10 in between. It opens onto the garden.

The TV room (left) is den-sized, and has French stations and a DVD player.

Up time-worn steps are the bedrooms on two floors. These comprise:

- 1 Double with en suite bathroom;
- 4 further Doubles, one of which is a walkthrough to a twin room for kids;
