The house is ideally situated in the countryside between the fascinating medieval city of Avignon to the west, and the Luberon to the east. The Luberon is known for its beautiful perched, hill-top villages, like Gordes, Menerbes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Goult, and Oppede le vieux. The nearest village is Le Thor, 3 minutes away, and 10 minutes away is the town of Isle sur la Sorgue, which is the antiques capital of France, also known as the Venice of Provence.
