Villa Belle Vue is a holiday rental villa 1km from the stunning hill-top village of Gordes, available for weekly rentals. The villa has 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8 people, and is set high above the Luberon valley, so there are beautiful views from all the rooms, the garden and the swimming pool.

Living Rooms

Spacious living room with fireplace, satellite TV and dining table, opening onto the front terrace.
The elegant living room is centred on the fireplace, with comfortable sofas and a dining table. There is a wide-screen TV with CanalSat satellite channels including CNN and BBC international options, as well as all the French stations. DVD player too.
Wireless high-speed internet (WiFi) is also provided, and calls within France are free.

 |  | The kitchen is out of the ordinary for a rental home, very well equipped with a professional, double-width cooker and American fridge-freezer. There are all sorts of gadgets and all the eseentials, and plenty of crockery and glassware. Large windows open from the kitchen to the outside dining table under the trellis. A separate laundry room houses the washing and drying machines. There is also a downstairs guest WC. |  |
Bedrooms
There are 4 bedrooms, sleeping 8 people, and 3 bathrooms.

The master bedroom is large and includes a writing desk, a generous wall of closets, en suite bathroom with bath, and outside is its own patio with a beautiful view.
The bed is either 2 singles, 90cm wide, or one double, 1.8m wide (6ft).

Bedrooms 3 and 4 (above) are the same size, with either 2 single beds or a double that is 1.8m wide (6 ft) in one and 1.6m wide (5.25ft) in the other. Between bedrooms 3 and 4 is the bathroom they share (see right) with walk-in shower and basin, as well as the separate WC. All beds in the house are 2m long, or 6.5ft, and the mattresses and bedding are all of a very good quality. |  |  |
Garden & Pool

At the front of the house, facing south to the view, are places to sit, eat and drink under the shade of the pergola.
 | There are two shaded patio areas at the front of the house, for outside eating, one right outside the kitchen. In front of the house is a lawned area followed by a terraced olive grove. Behind and up a level is the pool. The pool is 12m x 6m. It is fenced but you also need to keep two doors upstairs locked to keep children out. So it may not be suitable for smaller children. |
There are sunloungers and table and chairs by the pool, along with a large parasol and the shade of a trellis.

The Location

Villa Belle Vue is 1 km from the stunning village of Gordes, which is the biggest of the Luberon hill-top villages, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops and cultural events, so it is an ideal base from which to explore the Luberon and Provence.
The Luberon is known for the beauty of its perched villages, in addition to Gordes, close by are Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux, Roussillon and many others. Each is a short drive away.
You'll find a market every day at a different village, including the one in Gordes on Tuesday mornings.
Away from the Luberon, the rest of Provence is at most a day-trip away: the cities of Avignon, Aix, Arles, Nimes, Marseille; the natural wonders of the Gorges du Verdon, the Alps and the Rhone wine trail; the French Riviera (Cote d'Azur) from Monte Carlo to St Tropez. Even Italy and Spain are in striking distance.
