1-bedroom studio rental in quiet Provence hamlet near Roussillon
 

A beautifully designed renovation, sister property to La Madeleine which is in the same quiet hamlet in the Luberon region of Provence. Le Chicouloun is an apartment with 1 bedroom, kitchen/living room, bathroom, and garden. It is between the villages of Lioux and Joucas, and the famed perched villages of the Luberon are all nearby: Rousillon, Gordes, Menerbes, Goult, etc.

 

Living Room

  

The kitchen is equipped with food lovers in mind. Here you can prepare those Provencal meals you have dreamed of, with ingredients fresh from the market. The kitchen has an oven, 4-ring cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine and clothes washing machine.

 

The kitchen and living room are open plan and full of light. There is TV with CNN, BBC World, Sky News and CNBC, and a hi-fi with CD player.

  





Bedroom

  

The spacious bedroom has a 1.6m wide bed and en suite bathroom with shower, basin and WC (below).

  





Outside

The apartment occupies the upstairs of an old stone house, that extra height gives you a view to the dramatic cliff above Lioux.

  

There is a little garden outside with table and chairs, and two sunloungers. The garden receives the sun in the morning.

The Location

The studio is in a small hamlet in beautiful countryside. The tiny village of Lioux is 2km away, and 10 minutes away are the fabulous perched villages of Roussillon, Gordes, Joucas and Goult with their shops and restaurants.

There are hikes right from the door of the house exploring the surrounding countryside, or you can explore by bike. Village markets take place in a different village each day of the week.

This is the Luberon region of Provence, famed for its scenery, culture, food and sunshine.

Included in the rental rates: bedlinen, towels, utilities, 2 hours of cleaning per week, and after-stay clean.

Rental periods run from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am. For stays over a week there is a change of bedlinen once a week.

To secure a booking you would send a 25% deposit, with the balance payable up to 8 weeks before your stay.

There is a refundable security deposit of 900 euros against any breakages or damage.		 Insurance: when you book a rental home in France you must have personal liability insurance to cover against accidental damage to the property. This is usually a standard part of travel insurance.

Cancellation policy: if we can find another booking for your dates we will return any money sent (minus bank charges).

The house is for a maximum of 8 people. We regret that pets and smoking are not allowed in the house
