A very comfortable 2-bedroom vacation rental house in the Provence countryside between Gordes and Goult, with air conditioning and use of the pool.
 
 
The middle window is the dining/living room and kitchen, the left and right windows are the two bedrooms.   There is comfortable seating on cane chairs and loungers in front of the house, and views through the trees of Bonnieux and Lacoste.
 
  The house is on the grounds of the owners' house, set 50 yards apart in a private part of the garden, with its own access and parking. You needn't see the owners at all, but if you need help or advice, they do know everyone and everything in the region, so you couldn't ask for better advisors.  
 
Both bedrooms have a large bed, air conditioning, en suite bathroom and dressing room.
 
 

Both bedrooms are the same size and have air conditioning and an en suite bathroom. The bathrooms are the same too (above right), with a walk-in shower, basin, WC and a window.

Bedrooms have a queen-size double (1.6m wide, 2m long, or 62 inches wide by 6'6" long) with firm mattress.

Each bedroom also has a small dressing room and plenty of storage for clothes.

Dining/living room with seating for four   Well equipped kitchen
 

 

In the middle part of the house is the dining/living room with table and 4 chairs, and behind that the kitchen.

The kitchen has a 4-ring stove and oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washing machine, coffee machine, and plenty of pots, pans and cooking utensils.

There is TV with satellite stations, that includes CNN, the British terrestrial channels and the 5 French terrestrial channels.

  
 
 

The pool (left) is by the owners' house, 50 yards away, and you have shared use of it. There is also a 1-bedroom rental house on the grounds, whose occupants have use of the pool. (Children are not allowed in either house). The owners do not use the pool very often, and they both work.

The pool is 10m (33ft) long and has a resistance swimming option - like a swimming treadmill, a jet of water at one end lets you swim as far as you want without moving.

There is much comfortable seating around the pool, from upright to horizontal.
 
 
From the gravelled terrace there is a view through the oaks and pines of Bonnieux, Lacoste, Goult and the Luberon mountain
 
 
There is also the possibility of a long weekend stay.
 
 

The house is right in the middle of the Petit Luberon, within the Golden Triangle of Gordes, Menerbes and Bonnieux, and very close to the other notable hill-top villages like Lacoste, Goult, Oppede le vieux, Roussillon and Lourmarin. Gordes is 4 miles away, Goult is 2.5 miles. The nearest village is St Pantaleon, but this has no shops. You can walk to Gordes across country in 30 minutes.
