Bored of beauty? Had enough of hills? Fed up with old buildings? Come to Coustellet! Not only is it the ugliest village in the Luberon, it is also the flattest, and all the architecture is new and uninspiring.

You don’t come to Cousetellet with a camera, for this is a crossroads of trade: Coustellet is the Chicago of the Luberon. This is where all the necessary but unattractive things are kept: banks, home improvement stores, supermarket, laundromat, recycling plant, realtors, petrol stations, traffic lights, traffic...

But also: a fishmonger, organic grocery, deli, decent sushi place, wine store, good bakeries, numerous restaurants, and of course the farmers’ market on Sunday mornings (April-December).
