A big thank you for thiis wonderful stay. The house is splendid, decorated with taste and well equipped. You can’t help but have a great time.

Goult is a little-known gem of a village, with a lovely atmosphere, a good cafe/restaurant on the main square, and several other good restaurants, as well as a beautifully preserved old neighbourhood with bakery, butcher, grocery store, leading up past the chateau to the windmill looking out to the Luberon. It is an ideal base, with everything you need, and not too busy. Goult has a seasonal market on Thursday mornings. The village also has public tennis courts.
The other perched, hill-top villages of the Luberon, like Menerbes, Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, and Oppede-le-vieux are all 10-15 minutes away. The impressive Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and the antiques capital of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are 20 minutes away, the medieval city of Avignon is 40 minutes, and within an hour or so are Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy-de-Provence, Arles, Mont Ventoux, Les Baux-de-Provence, and the Rhone wine trail.

Great Villa in a Perfect Location
Villa Goult is a lovely contemporary home that has all the amenities and creature comforts one could possibly wish for in a Provencal holiday villa. It is well laid out, has plenty of space and is superbly equipped with modern appliances throughout. The air conditioning was particularly noteworthy as it worked efficiently and quietly whenever we needed it; this facility was most welcome as the outside daily temperatures lingered in the 30s.
The extensive gardens were a notable feature with many well equipped sitting out areas to choose from. We particularly enjoyed life around the well sized, heated pool and loved sunbathing on the huge bean bags!
The villa’s USP is, perhaps, its proximity to Goult, a wonderful, quintessentially Provencal village that is not overwhelmed by tourists. A short walk (6 to 8 minutes) provides ready access to a number of eclectic shops, cafes and restaurants that cater for your every need.
Highly Recommended.
Beautiful and relaxing week in a lovely house
We spent a wonderful week in Suzanne’s beautiful house. Arrival was super smooth, the house info was comprehensive and helpful and Suzanne was warm, friendly and very responsive to queries throughout the week. The pool is the perfect size and temperature and has such a lovely view from the terrace. It was a joy to start every day with a game on the pétanque court! The kitchen is bright and new and could not be better equipped. The children loved the TV snug and all the bedrooms were cool and elegant with comfortable bedding. It was particularly nice having en suite bathrooms for all. The house has easy access and ample parking and is just a short stroll up into Goult (which remains our very favourite village). We would love to return for another holiday here, hopefully when the beautiful lavender bed is in flower!
Villa Goult
We have visited many villas over the years but this villa stands out among, if not above, the best. The villa itself is immaculate and fully equipped with lovely grounds. It is also 6-7 mins walk into Goult which is a peach of a village with several good restaurants as well as the normal butcher, baker and mini supermarket,
What made the holiday so special was the attention and friendliness of Suzanne who owns the villa- she could not have been more attentive without being in the least intrusive. She was extremely helpful throughout the booking process , checked we had got in ok and followed up the next day to see if all was well and then left us to it but always at hand if needed, as we did once.
There have been few villas we would wish to visit again but this was definitely one of then. We had a brilliant holiday
