A house full of joy

Mas de Lavande is like visiting your old family house, and with my son, grandchildren and friends we felt completely at home there. Everyonne loved the tennis court, and played non-stop the whole time. In the evening the children found the board games and played with joyous hearts. It was a house full of happiness. Thank you so much to Sylvie the housekeeper for her kindness.

Special house in an outstanding area

We enjoyed a wonderful September family holiday here. The house has such character and a wealth of historic features, but is very comfortable to stay in. The tennis court was very welcome and much used, but we so enjoyed exploring the Luberon. We left with regret having had one of our best family holidays in this lovely house. We must also mention Sylvie who came every two days and was absolutely delightful.

Wonderful location

Having visited friends here before we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. The charm of the house and the wonderful valley views are huge features. Everything is provided and without hesitation I would return. Indeed I had a few evil thoughts not to complete this review so that there is some availability for us in 2016!

A home from home!

This place was marvelous ... so many different places to sit and read or talk so that no one was on top of another. And the large kitchen area was excellent. There were several cooks, but they all managed very well, largely because of the way the rooms are arranged. Then most evenings we all sat outside eating and drinking. The owners have really made this house a home, even for strangers.

Wonderful memories of Provence

We had a great time at the house! We tended to go on outings in the middle of the day, to Gordes, Menerbes, Lacoste, Bonnieux, Abbeye de Senanques, the Pont du Gard, Uzes, various markets. There is great comfort and pleasure in the unchanging beauty of the house and view. Sylvie is a tornado of energy and very helplful and charming - she made us sanglier for my Dad's birthday celebration and it was great!
