Fantastic venue for a family and friends gathering

My husband and I rented this property to celebrate our 40th anniversary with friends and family. It worked out perfectly. The house is well-appointed with a huge living/dining area, outdoor dining area, five very comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bath. The kitchen is well-equipped. Beverly, the property manager, arranged for a chef to come prepare dinner on the day of our anniversary and she also put is in touch with a bike rental company that delivered four bikes directly to the house. The location (which is actually closer to Rousillon than Bonnieux) is well- located - - close to the many their hill towns of the Luberon and also near dedicated bike paths and a terrific vegetable stand. The house itself is charming and comfortable. We had a great time.

Such an amazing experience!

It took me almost 365 days to write this review, but here I am. We've rented this location for a very special trip with our family and beloved frieds who shared our passion for traveling, cycling, food, wine and special moments. We couldn't have chosen better. The property is superb, incredibly well located and met every single need of our group, which included 2 little boys at the age of two. Now that our trip completes exactly 1 year, I realize how much I miss those times. I could say that I even miss the cigales...Did I say that??!! Well, as for Beverly, no words to thank her ability to please us in every possible way. The same can be said about Angelina. So sweet, attentive and talented!! Do not miss the oportunity to have her cooking for you. As for the region, each city has its charm must be explored with no rush. Goult, Bonnieux, Roussillon and Cousteillet served as our market centres. Remarks shall be given to the local market of Cousteillet and the amazing boucherie. Also, do not miss la cave Au Gout do Jour in Roussillon. The owner, Marie-Pierre, knows everything about wine and has hiddem gems in her cellar. Long story short, the property is amazing and worth many visits as you can. I'm already planning the next one.

A magical week in Provence

Words cannot adequately describe what an amazing property this is! I wanted to spend my 40th birthday in a beautiful location with friends and family, and I cannot imagine a more perfect spot The house is located in a prime spot for exploring the Luberon. We'd visit the local villages in the morning to pick up supplies for the day, and then spend most of the afternoon swimming in the pool. The kitchen is well stocked, and we enjoyed cooking there most nights. Some of the highlights of our trip: Farmers market in Coustellet (only in summers) Maison Gouin in Coustellet- picked up wine, pates, salami, and steaks to grill Driving to Bonnieux in the mornings for pastries Riding bikes on the windy roads Walking to Pont Julien Hiring a private boat in Marseille and swimming in the Callanques Wine tasting in Chateauneuf du Pape Buying rose at Chateau la Canorgue (just down the street) Watching the sunset at Lacoste Market days (any of them!) Berverly was super helpful throughout the whole process. Especially when I had to call her from the airport when they lost our luggage! She gave the airlines directions to the house so they could deliver it a couple days later. She also checked in during the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a wonderful vacation, and I highly recommend this property. We loved it so much that we're going back in March for a family celebration!

Gorgeous dream holiday in Provence

I rented this property as part of a dream trip I was hosting for seven other Australian women, so I needed the villa to match everything I had seen on the website ... and more! I am delighted to advise this is such a lovely property, it fully captured the vibe of what I was wishing to share with the women on our tour. And most importantly, the support we received from the manager, Beverly and her team was absolutely crucial to the success of the week. Nothing was too much trouble and all my dealings with Beverly were pleasant, efficient and productive. The villa is glamorous and gorgeous, just something fabulous out of a style or design magazine. Everything was beautifully styled and presented. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a very high standard. The kitchen is a cook's dream - and we hired Angelina, the adorable cook for two absolutely exquisite meals during our week - and it all just worked wonderfully well for us all. We all particularly loved the pool area. Lounging around having quiet afternoons snoozing, and then launching into gin and tonics at 5.00pm for a great party by the pool at dusk, was ... too much fun. Everything about the house was fabulous. We all loved it, and I'm happy to say this can easily be anyone's perfect 'home from home' whilst holidaying in Provence

Perfect vacation

Our little band of friends wanted me to tell you how wonderful your house is. We had a terrific time. We visited the whole region, ate and shopped and even cooked a few meals at home with fresh food from the farmers market. You furnished the house so comfortably, tastefully and chic. Beverly [house manager] was a great help and so accommodating and friendly. And Angelina [housekeeper & cook] was a little treasure to have around. She prepared a delicious meal when we arrived....We just want to tell you how much all of us enjoyed our afternoon and dinner with Cosette [professional chef]. We loved watching her prepare the fantastic courses.... Her pumpkin and scallop soup was divine. The duck was perfect. The vegetable dish was delicious and unique. The chocolate and pear dessert--out of this world. The kitchen was immaculate when she left. It was a perfect vacation.

This house is magnificent

We absolutely loved the place. The house is fantastic and the location puts you so close to some of the most wonderful villages. Our week was spent in pretty much the same fashion: we would get up in the morning, breakfast at the house and then strike out for one of the "must see" villages (which include Gordes, Goult, Rousillon, Lacoste and Isle sur le Sorgue.) The antique market at Isle sur le Sorgue is great. We had lunch in the villages and made sure to go on market day so we could shop for food and wine to bring home. Almost every dinner was under the big tree in the courtyard at the house. This house is magnificent.

Fabulous week in the Luberon

We had a fabulous week and can highly recommend it...to rent in the beautiful Luberon area. Its location close to the D900 makes it an ideal springboard for day trips to all the surrounding picturesque towns and villages. The house itself is an absolute treat! Beautifully decorated, it offers luxurious comfort and is equipped with everything one could possibly need. I think we will return to the Luberon and will definitely be in touch when we do!
