The house is in 2.8 ha of land (7 acres), including a 5-acre lavender field at the front. Beyond the lavender are the two hill-top villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste and the Luberon mountain.

 

 

The pool is 13m x 7m (42 x 23ft) and has a heat pump to add some degrees in the shoulder season. There is a wide first step at the shallow end for toddlers.

 

By the pool is a covered poolhouse (below left) and terrace, with a stone-built barbecue.

At the front terrace which runs the length of the house are outside eating and sitting spots (below), as well as sunloungers.

The property's 6 acres are made up of landscaped garden, lawn, terrace, lavender fields and courtyard.

In the centre of the property is the inner courtyard (below), which offers a shaded dining table and opens out into a gravelled area around a fountain, under plane trees - the perfect place for petanque.

To the side of the house is a walled garden with a hammock on the lawn and another shaded outside table (below left).

The medieval villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste (below) have been facing each other across the valley for well over 1000 years.

The property has a gated entrance and secure parking. Also on the grounds is the caretakers' cottage: the caretakers are an English couple who can help with problems or local advice. One of the services they can provide is any kind of breakfast you may desire.
