When you stay on this property you follow in the footsteps of notable figures from history - Albert Camus, Winston Churchill, Jean Cocteau for example - as this was the home of a well-known French writer. The sense of being in nature but 3 minutes' walk from Lourmarin has not changed since their time.

The apartment is one of three 1-bedroom rental units for couples only on a wonderful 14-acre estate next to Lourmarin castle. Each apartment has its own private terrace with outdoor dining and sunloungers.

The grounds of the property are a distillation of the Provence countryside, with a vineyard, olive groves, pine woods, cypress alley, lavender and fruit trees. The grounds are so expansive that you can take a walk or jog without leaving the property.
