The living room and kitchen are open-plan, with the through the doors. The building dates back to the 1700s and has high ceilings, with a fireplace at the heart of the home. There is satellite TV with English-language channels CNN and BBC World, and WiFi internet.

The kitchen is well equipped with oven, 4-ring cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, toaster, and electric kettle. Overhead a skylight floods the space with light.
