La Villa Rouge - Garden

The house is elevated and the terrace is up one floor from the street level, so it is a private and calm space with magnificent views of the Mont Ventoux, the vineyards of the Luberon valley, and the ochre outcrops of Roussillon.

In the centre of the terrace is a small heated pool, measuring 4m x 4m (13 x 13ft) and 1.3m deep (4.25ft).

Pool and fig tree, with the outside dining table under the awning, behind the tree.

Standing over all is the fig tree married to a white climbing rose. Under the awning by the kitchen is the outside dining table (above right), beautifully lit at night, along with the submerged lighting of the pool.

The pool is heated and has a spectacular Provence view.

The wide high views greet the eye from all parts of the terrace.

Behind the pool is a sitting area with sofas and table, which is next to the wine bar. For outside cooking, a plancha, which is like an improved BBQ.

Pictured left is an aerial shot of the house, which is in the middle of the picture with the big blue door at the front. The terrace is to the rear with the white parasols.

Despite being one minute's stroll to the amenites and life of the village, the house is notably calm and tranquil.

At street level is a garage for one car and there is a space in front of the garage door for a second car. The garage door opens electronically. Stairs connect the garage and laundry to the rest of the house.
