The property is in countryside 5 minutes from two Provence villages - Boulbon and Barbentane. Both are living villages with shops, restaurants and cafes. Behind the house are the hills of La Montagnette, good hiking and horse-riding country.

Ten minutes away is the awesome medieval city of Avignon, scene of the famous arts festival in summer, and 10 minutes south is the historic town of Tarascon.

This is a very central location for the highlights of Provence: the Luberon and Cote d'Azur to the east, the Rhone wine trail to the north, the Camargue, Les Baux, Aix and Marseille to the south, and Nimes and the Languedoc to the west. All would make an idyllic day or half-day trip.

The beautiful medieval city of Avignon, with its famous summer festival, is 10 minutes away.
