Le Bistrot de Lagarde

" Run by a charming young couple, in a former nuclear bunker on the plateau above Rustrel which they've totally transformed into a charming restaurant and offering exceptionally good food- it's well worth the long, twisty drive up to the plateau. Lunch is 14 or 15 euro and dinner around 29. Please pay them a visit and have a look at their website. "

"A brilliant find, this restaurant now has a Michelin star. In a most out of the way place the food has to be good and it certainly is! The young owners and staff work hard to make you feel welcome and serve delicious meals at several levels from light lunches to gourmet menus. We have visited over two years and come away very satisfied. You have to book. Beware they are closed Monday and Tuesday."
