Le Jardin d'Ivana

"If you can't get an invitation from a local to join them for lunch in their back garden, then come here instead. Jardin d'Ivana is a family restaurant run from a small garden at the foot of Oppede-le-vieux, dominated by a pool (which you are free to use) and two almond trees. The hosts are charming, very relaxed and accommodating (we were a party of 8 with toddlers, babies and vegetarians in tow). They offered a 'menu du jour' of 4 courses and a 3-course kids' menu. The food was unpretentious and tasty. The day we ate here, the 13-euro menu du jour was a cold cucumber soup (or hot carrot risotto soup), crostini, courgette and salmon quiche and chocolate pudding. Coffee, wine and water included. The dinner menu is 23 euros. The kids enjoyed ravioli, frankfurters and chocolate pudding for 4.5 Euros. If you want to be inside, you need to book. The pool is not fenced in, so if you're nervous about non-swimming children near a pool this may mar an otherwise relaxing lunch."

"Very lovely family restaurant. It is very tasty! you receive for 29 euros: aperitif, wine, soup, snack, hot, dessert, coffee, digestif. Wonderful atmosphere!"
