The house is fantastically beautiful, with spacious rooms that offer plenty of space for cozy hours and retreat. The kitchen is well equipped and allows you to cook and then enjoy the view of the countryside on the terrace! We used the house as a group during our painting, culture and pleasure trip and were thrilled, as there are also many picturesque corners around the house!

I can absolutely recommend this beautiful property!

PAOLO'S VIEW: “The house is grand, the pool is huge, the country views are wide and far, there are 100 private acres to enjoy, and it sleeps 15 in comfort”

The Location
The house is in the countryside between Apt and Villars, the closest village with amenities is St-Saturnin-les-Apt.

St-Saturnin-les-Apt is a typical Luberon village with lots of character but few tourists. Its streets are full of intriguing architecture and ornate doorways, as well as several restaurants. St Sat, as the locals call it, has the usual village essentials - church and ruined castle on high - and more practical considerations like a weekly market (Tuesday mornings), municipal pool, tennis courts and public boulodrome, and all the amenities you would need to live within the village. Then there is the huge Saturday market in nearby Apt, the region's biggest, which is a weekly rendez-vous point for villagers.

All the other picture-perfect, 'perched' hill-top villages of the Luberon are within 30 minutes by car: Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux, Bonnieux, and Goult. In the other direction is the wilder Luberon and lavender country round Simiane-la-Rotonde, Banon and Sault. The market town of Apt with its supermarkets and year-round buzz is 7 minutes away. Within 80 minutes are Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, Arles, St-Remy, Mont Ventoux, Les Baux-de-Provence and Marseille.

Really good stay

Rated 5 out of 5
3rd July 2025

Very enjoyable stay. The house is clean and well equipped. From kitchen utensils to towels and bed linnen to furtniture. Ceiling fans only (no airconditioning) which was not a problem for us with temperatures maxing out between 25-30 degrees. The pool and other common grounds are clean and well taken care off. Gordes is beautiful and offers restaurants, cafes and bakeries. and easily reached by foot. Plenty of beautiful villages and activities in the surrounding area.

Perfect family trip with breathtaking views

When we arrived we were immediately convinced that this was going to be an unforgettable experience. The view was breathtaking, and the concierges were incredibly friendly and helped us with every question. Even any questions we had during our stay were answered immediately by the property owner. We had an unforgettable week here with our family, and we’d love to do it again! The house was beautiful and very well-maintained. There was so much choice in rooms, including many bathrooms, which is very convenient when traveling with several family members. Supermarkets and plenty of tourist attractions were nearby. Keep up the good work! This is definitely recommended

The location and the entire property are fantastic. The house is stylishly furnished, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is superbly equipped. There are even some ride-on toys and play equipment for the children. We had an incredibly enjoyable stay.

Wonderful Days in Provence

Rated 5 out of 5

This is a very special property that impressed us from the very first moment with its extraordinary ambience.

The contact with the owner when booking was excellent: all the necessary information. Immediate response. Particularly caring.

We were also welcomed in the same way by the managers Daniel and Mireille, who were on hand to help and advise us and recommended the best supermarket and boulangerie of choice in Apt. Travel time approx. 15 minutes.

After reaching the domaine via a very easy gravel road, all you can hear is the bubbling of the in-house spring. A place of absolute peace and relaxation. The large kitchen and dining room are equipped with everything you could wish for and offer a lot of space. When the weather is nice, you can also eat outside under a pergola at a long table.

The rooms are all individually and tastefully furnished. The many well-thought-out details are impressive. The beds are very comfortable. If you want, you can retreat to the living room or reading room.

Despite the quiet location of the domain, many sights are about a 30-minute drive away. Avignon and Aix are about 60 minutes away.

We had a wonderful week in Provence, would have liked to have stayed much longer and will definitely come back.
