Perfection in Bonnieux...
My husband and I stayed in Sharon + Paul’s studio for a week in December and we both agreed we will be returning ASAP. The rental itself is fully equipped and beautifully designed and maintained – it is a more than idyllic and peaceful retreat set amongst the stunning mountains and towns of the Luberon region. We made this apartment our home base and spent each day hiking, going to the farmer’s and antique markets and visiting towns such as St. Remy, Aix-en-Provence and Avignon. Sharon and Paul are also the most thorough and warm owners – they provided us with all the information we needed on getting to Bonnieux + checking in, and they go above and beyond in filling the apartment with personal touches and creating a lovely home for their guests. We loved our stay and have found our new happy place – we cannot wait to return next year! – L + S
Close by are other beautiful, perched, hilltop villages: Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede le vieux, Menerbes, Goult, etc. all within 15 minutes. From Bonnieux you are by the cleft in the Luberon mountain that gives you access to the south side: more gorgeous villages like Lourmarin, Cucuron, Ansouis and Cadenet to explore, 20 minutes away, and beyond these, the fine city of Aix-en-Provence.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean.
To book: 50% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 3 nights minimum.
Refundable damage deposit: 200 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 2. (Additional bedroom available for 2 people, for 330 euros per week).
Dogs are not accepted in this property.
All properties are non-smoking.
Lovely Sojourn in Bonnieux
The Bonnieux Studio was a perfect home for my week to relax in Provence in September. The apartment is nicely appointed with all a person would need to really embrace this beautiful community. The apartment is conveniently located a short walking distance to great restaurants, a small grocer and bike shops. I spent the week cycling the surrounding region, where this apartment was perfect. Bike storage within the building along with access to a washer and dryer were a bonus. Thank you to Sharon and Paul for your gracious hosting. I hope to return to Bonnieux and this apartment next year!
My Provençal Home Away from Home
This was my second stay at Paul and Sharon’s studio in Bonnieux—and honestly, I think I love it more each time. There’s something truly special about this place that keeps calling me back. Paul and Sharon have created a haven that feels both luxurious and deeply comforting. Every detail, from the crisp, high-quality linens to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen, has been curated with care and intention. It’s the kind of space where you instantly feel at home.
The apartment is centrally located in the village, so you can walk to everything—art galleries, cafés, and delightful little shops that make Bonnieux such a laid-back and enchanting destination. The village itself is a treasure: quiet, creative, and full of character, with just the right balance of charm and authenticity.
Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat or planning to explore the surrounding Luberon villages, this apartment is the perfect base. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and already looking forward to my next visit. It’s rare to find a place that feels this right—and for me, this apartment is it.
A little slice of heaven
I had such a lovely time staying in this beautiful Bonnieux studio. What a magical town! I spent the days cycling stunning climbs and resting in whatever village they led me to… only to come back and have this very special place waiting.
A very magical experience
Not only is Bonnieux a treasure in the hills of the Vaucluse but the apartment and Sharon and Paul’s attention to every detail in the space is quite a gift in and of itself. From the moment I walked into the entryway to the lovely studio with its furniture, it’s oh so comfortable bedding, the guide of area suggestions and any bit of information you need to know and have, was all there to make you feel right at home. I did indeed feel absolutely at home and did not want to leave quite frankly. Their taste is impeccable and the energy in the space is so calm and inspiring. I would return again in a heartbeat and with confidence would know that any space they touch will hold this exceptional charm – a treasure for certain. Thank you Sharon and Paul for a wonderful and enchanting stay.
