Unbelievable week in Menerbes
We had the most incredible time at this amazing cottage. The house and the setting is just a dream and it’s in a magical location. The pool was just a dream and we and our girls (aged 6 and 9) absolutely loved their dips in the afternoons especially after a day of exploring in the sweltering heat. The owners were so very lovely, making sure we had everything and Dominique so kindly gifting our two girls with two gorgeous little bags that they will definitely fondly remember of their time here. The cottage was so well equipped with everything we needed. Just minutes walk to the village, we had so many dining options at our door doorstep and the village bakery which was fab for our morning croissants. We will definitely be returning to this home again in years to come. A gem of a place with the loveliest owners!
Menerbes rises up like a ship from the sea of vineyards that run along the Luberon valley and is officially one of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France'. Menerbes has two levels. On the mid-level are restaurants, cafe, bakery and grocery store. And on the top level you can stroll past grand houses with magnificent views to north and south, as well as the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin (House of Wine and Truffles), where you can buy produce and also have lunch in the beautiful garden. Market day in Menerbes is Thursday mornings from April to October.
From Menerbes you can get to the other picture-perfect hill-top villages of the north Luberon within 15 minutes by car: Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux and Goult. Within an hour are the must-sees of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence and Arles.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, visitor tax, after-stay clean. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly change of bedding and towels.
To book: 25% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: June-August, 1-week minimum from Saturday 4pm to Saturday 10am. Rest of year 4 nights minimum with flexible arrival day.
Refundable damage deposit: 300 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 4.
Dogs would be considered at this property.
All properties are non-smoking.
What a lovely 10 days!
I was traveling with my mom and adult niece and we loved this property. Well, situated at the top of Menerbes. The house is well-equipped and very clean. The pool is heavenly! The other guests were all very nice and fun to chat with. Nothing really to complain about. And the owner, Dominique, is lovely. She even went above and beyond helping me print a form I needed for my business. Thank you!!
an absolutely amazing place
We are here for a month and have 2 more weeks to go. We realize that we could stay here another 2 months. Menerbes is a charming village, Garrigue 2 and the other 2 apartments are exception and equally charming. We intend to return to what now seems like home. Thank you Dominque for being such a gracious hostess. We have fallen in love with Menerbes and the entire Luberon Valley. Every village has its own charm.

Very nice house in a quiet area
The house is located above the town of Ménerbes, surrounded by trees in a quiet area. There are three houses and a common poolarea.
The house is perfect for two couples or a family of 4.
getting to the house is a little tricky because of the narrow streets leading to the area.
Dominique, the owner lives nearby and was very helpful. Whenever we had a question or needed help, she and her husband provided the answers immediately! They are both very friendly and try to fulfill any wishes.
We enjoyed our time very much and when going back to Ménerbes we will most probably choose to stay there.
