Fantastic property! ❤️
What a wonderful property! Gordes Nest is a fantastic gite with a fascinating history which Nathalie and Michel were kind enough to share with us. The property itself is light and airy and sympathetically renovated with a tasteful nod to the 70’s when it was first constructed. It is nestled peacefully in the olive trees with great views but close enough to walk (uphill!) to Gordes. The pool is perfect to cool off! We felt so welcomed by Michel and Nathalie. Having seen we had brought a bike, the first morning after we arrived they included my husband in an organised bike ride which he loved and allowed him to see the local area. He did several rides over week, including to Ventoux, it is a great base to cycle from and they have secure bike storage. Michel and Nathalie are the perfect hosts. They are around when you need them but allow you to enjoy your holiday in peace too. I would not hesitate to recommend their gite, we had a superb holiday. We are grateful to have been able to share a little bit of their paradise!
Gordes is probably the most famous Luberon village, due in no small part to the incredibly photogenic view of it as you arrive. Gordes has a great choice of restaurants, cafes, specialist shops, cultural events, and is alive year-round. On Tuesday mornings the centre of the village around the chateau is taken over by the weekly market. Just outside Gordes is Senanque Abbey, another must-see photo-moment when the lavender is in bloom.
The view from Gordes' high position over the Luberon valley is also spectacular, and you can pick out most of the best hill-top villages of the Luberon, all a short drive away: Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux, Roussillon, Goult. The impressive Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and the antiques capital of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are 20 minutes away, the medieval city of Avignon is 40 minutes, and within an hour or so are Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy-de-Provence, Arles, Mont Ventoux, Les Baux-de-Provence, and the Rhone wine trail.

Nesting in Gordes
Magical, calm and restorative. A place to breathe, reset finding stillness and the essence of life. Flexibility to enjoy neighboring villages, restaurants, and or serenity on the terrace. The owners reflect the warmth, and beauty of this unique gem. Sending warmest wishes to Nathalie and Michel , 💜 Kim & Luke
PERFECT in every way
Beautiful property, wonderfully curated and had everything anyone could possibly need. Will be returning! Owners are exceptional and the attention to design details was superb.
Beautiful property
We were very pleased with our stay at Gordes Nest. It is close to the hilltop village of Gordes, which is visible from the pool. The property is secure and quiet, and hosts Michel and Nathalie were responsive, kind and very helpful. The property is immaculately maintained and extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bedding and linens were of high quality. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax, with terraces in the front by the pool and in the back. There is even a covered area for 3 cars.
We highly recommend this villa–you will not be disappointed!
