Our host was fantastic. Her home in Lourmarin was beautiful, so well appointed and a great location in the village. She gave us a full walk through at check in. Her home was well stocked with amenities and the AC worked well. Donatienne went far above and beyond the role of host as she helped guide us through a solution to an issue we had with our rental. She is an absolute delight and we can’t recommend her and her home more highly. One of the best stays we’ve ever had. We are looking forward a return trip.

We had the pleasure of staying at this stunning home in Lourmarin, and it was truly the perfect base for our family of five to explore Provence. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by how beautifully appointed and charming the home is. It felt like we were living in a dream version of Provence—every detail in the house was thoughtfully designed, blending traditional charm with modern comforts. The space was so comfortable and well-equipped that we felt completely at home from the start.

The village of Lourmarin itself is just as picturesque and welcoming as the home. It’s a beautiful, quaint village with everything you need—shops, restaurants, cafes—just steps away from the house, yet still private and peaceful. We loved being able to wander the village in the evenings, then retreat to our quiet sanctuary.

Donatienne was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. She provided us with so many helpful tips for exploring the area—many of which we wouldn’t have discovered on our own—and these hidden gems truly enhanced our stay. She made us feel so welcome and even left a bottle of delicious local wine and a sweet treat in the fridge. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, including coffee and teas, which made mornings extra special.

Lourmarin is a charming little town, an ideal starting point for discovering this beautiful region. The house is ideally located in the city centre, while being quiet. This is a centuries-old house, perfect for those looking for a house with the character of the region. It is in excellent condition and beautifully decorated. The rooms and the living room are well air-conditioned. The kitchen and dining room on the ground floor were warmer, but those days were very hot. We were three couples: us and our two children with their spouses. There are two bathrooms; both have a good shower. The kitchen is well equipped. A charming bakery is close to the house. Many shops, cafes and restaurants are also within walking distance. Donatienne was a perfect hostess. She was present on our arrival and departure. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Thank you for everything, we hope to return to the Luberon.
