Wonderful Stay!
Spent an amazing week at this lovely house. Everything was perfect. The setting is as beautiful as it appears in the photos, and a very short walk to the village of Goult. Fell in love with Goult – delicious restaurants, lively cafes, yummy boulangerie & a well-stocked little market! And not a lot of tourists! The house is well-furnished, very comfortable, & nicely decorated. You can tell that the owners take pride in their house & they were easily reachable & responsive for any queries. The outdoor area is a splendid spot to relax with a glass of wine, while soaking in the views. And did I mention that the house is in a perfect location for exploring all the villages and sites in the Luberon region! Can’t wait to return!
Lourmarin is one of the star villages of the Luberon, characterised by the lively restaurants and cafes spilling onto the street in the centre, with boutiques and food stores in medieval winding streets. It has a beautifully preserved castle to visit, which hosts various events through the year. And under the castle is a great wine cellar for tasting and buying local wines. On Friday mornings, Lourmarin hosts a great weekly market.
Lourmarin is a wonderful base, and from there you are close to other south Luberon villages like Cucuron and Ansouis, and 20-30 minutes from the beautiful hill-top villages of the north Luberon like Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Menerbes, Goult, Oppede-le-vieux, etc. Within 45-90 minutes are the splendid Provence cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, St-Remy, as well as swimming beaches, the Camargue, Marseille, and the Rhone wine trail.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly clean with change of bedding and towels. Visitor tax is not included.
To book: 30% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 3 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 4 nights minimum, arrival from 4pm and departure up to 11am.
Refundable damage deposit: 1500 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 6.
Dogs would be considered at this property.
All properties are non-smoking.
Fantastic location
This is such a beautiful house with a really cute garden. It’s comfortable, well equipped and stylishly furnished. The location is absolutely fantastic, very quiet, not overlooked, yet only 5 minutes walk into the centre of the village. We absolutely loved Lourmarin, it had a great atmosphere. The house is also well placed for visiting many other villages and within an hour of the coast too, so there is so much you can do if you want to. Anne the owner is absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We hope to come back in future, thank you for a wonderful week!
Great house in a beautiful place
The house is located in a quiet side street on the edge of Lourmarin. In a few minutes you are in the village, which is very nice (one of the association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France) and lively. The house is perfectly equipped, there really is nothing left to be desired. The owners and the neighborhood are very nice too. We certainly were not here for the last time.
Fantastic villa within walking distance of picturesque village.
The villa was quietly located, within walking distance of the village, complete and very comfortably furnished. Lovely saltwater pool. High-quality furnishings, including linen, washing machine, good beds and comfortable bathroom, exquisitely maintained. Even the herbs and dishwasher tablets, coffee cups etc. etc.. were present!
Wonderful stay!
Beautiful quiet house, 5 minutes walk from the center of Lourmarin and various shops. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated! It feels like home and everything is provided to have a great stay!
