Wonderful!

Beatrice’s house is wonderful! We (two couples each with one child) felt very comfortable and had plenty of space. The location in Goult is great, the place is lively and likeable and offers all the shops you need. There are also good restaurants, but here it is recommended to reserve in advance. Beatrice is a great hostess and was always very quick to respond when we had questions! We will be happy to come back.

PAOLO'S VIEW: “With a dream location in the village of Goult, the house also packs in spacious rooms, fantastic country views from the top terrace, and a verdant garden with pool”

The Location
The house is 2 minutes' walk to the restaurants and bakery of Goult.

Goult is a little-known gem of a village, with a lovely atmosphere, a good cafe/restaurant on the main square, and several other good restaurants, as well as a beautifully preserved old neighbourhood with bakery, butcher, grocery store, leading up past the chateau to the windmill looking out to the Luberon. It is an ideal base, with everything you need, and not too busy. Goult has a seasonal market on Thursday mornings. The village also has public tennis courts.

The other perched, hill-top villages of the Luberon, like Menerbes, Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, and Oppede-le-vieux are all 10-15 minutes away. The impressive Fontaine-de-Vaucluse and the antiques capital of l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue are 20 minutes away, the medieval city of Avignon is 40 minutes, and within an hour or so are Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy-de-Provence, Arles, Mont Ventoux, Les Baux-de-Provence, and the Rhone wine trail.

Great house, lots of space, very clean and the perfect base for our Provence exploration. The pool and terrace with views are amazing and the town of Goult is quiet and charming. Host, Beatrice, is wonderful. Very responsive and helpful too!

My wife and I just completed a 2 1/2 week stay at this lovely property in Goult. The house is large with plenty of space. The kitchen well equipped with all appliances imaginable! Huge living room with very comfortable furniture. I can only vouch for one bed in the 4 plus bedroom house since it was just my wife and I. It was the room with the terrace just outside and it was marvelous!! Speaking of the terrace, our favorite place to spend the sunsets. Gorgeous views over the Luberon. Glass of wine! HEAVEN! The location of this place is amazing and parking was no problem. Although there is no designated space I was never further than a minute walk away. Goult is a wonderful small hill town. Its a bit of a sleeper. Five good restaurants plus a pizzeria, an epicerie, and an incredible bakery. What else can you ask for?? Beatrice was a wonderful host. Although she was unable to be there for our check in it was a breeze. She was extremely helpful with whatever questions we had and was always available. Thank you for that.We so love this part of France and will be back.

We had an excellent stay in Goult! Beatrice is wonderful to work with and the house is a great home base for exploring the Luberon Valley. The house full of light and has an excellent kitchen to make many meals in. Beatrice went above and beyond to help us during our stay including coordinating a pony ride for our daughter’s birthday. Thank you for your hospitality and ensuring we had a wonderful stay!

Ideally situated and very charming house

We have just spent a week in Goult, a village with everything you need: bakery, great grocery store, butcher’s, cheese shop, three good restaurants etc. The house is on the outskirts of the village, a stone’s throw from the center, is very well equipped and offers a wonderful view, especially from the small terrace on the second floor. The bedrooms are spacious, also the kitchen and living room. The garden is quite small but has a swimming pool. In the fall it starts to get cold in the house because of the architecture, so you have to use the fireplace or the radiators of which there are many. I suppose this is a big advantage in the summer. The owner is absolutely lovely and takes care of all wishes, and even anticipates them. An impeccable stay.
