Breathtaking place
This may be the most beautiful rental I have ever stayed in. The house, village, and views were breathtaking. Catherine was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Thank you!
Menerbes rises up like a ship from the sea of vineyards that run along the Luberon valley and is officially one of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France'. Menerbes has two levels. On the mid-level are restaurants, cafe, bakery and grocery store. And on the top level you can stroll past grand houses with magnificent views to north and south, as well as the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin (House of Wine and Truffles), where you can buy produce and also have lunch in the beautiful garden. Market day in Menerbes is Thursday mornings from April to October.
From Menerbes you can get to the other picture-perfect hill-top villages of the north Luberon within 15 minutes by car: Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux and Goult. Within an hour are the must-sees of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence and Arles.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly clean with change of bedding and towels. Visitor tax not included.
To book: 25% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 4 nights minimum, except for November-March when it is 7 nights minimum. Arrival day is flexible.
Refundable damage deposit: 100 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 4.
Dogs are not accepted in this property.
All properties are non-smoking.
Cosy home from home
This is the perfect base for exploring Provence as everything is an easy day trip. The house is comfortable and cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything one could possibly need. At the end of the day it was always a great pleasure to enjoy the terrace before dinner in Ménerbes.

Staying at this house in Ménerbes was an absolute dream. The location is truly unbeatable — right in the heart of one of the most beautiful and authentic villages in Provence. The home itself is stunning, perfectly blending charm and comfort, with every detail thoughtfully considered.
The home has incredible views — it’s a pleasure to sit back, relax, and watch the clouds form over the hill opposite.. The house is filled with everything you could possibly need to make the most of this special place, making it feel like a home away from home.
If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by beauty, history, and charm, this is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!
A very special place
Maison de Menerbes is a little piece of Heaven on earth! The layout, the terrace, the view… oh, that view! It was the most quiet and peaceful place we have ever stayed in. Catherine was a wonderful host from the moment we booked through our visit.
We had all we needed and only steps away are small shops for supplies, food and wine. Although, you cannot be certain of when each will be open!
Also in waking distance are several great restaurants and cafes. Do not miss the wonderful sandwich shop up the hill!
Menerbes is a lovely village and very well located for exploring nearby villages. This is a very special place and we will never forget our time here!
Such a great find!
The house was tastefully decorated in Provençal style down to the beautiful artwork! The giant kitchen window and spacious terrace are even more gorgeous in person. We loved sipping wine on the terrace and enjoying the sunsets. Also the beds and linens were extremely comfortable, more so than other rental homes I’ve stayed in. Located right in the heart of Menerbes, one of best villages in Luberon. Very easy parking nearby in town. Also the upstairs space was an added bonus! We also appreciated the very communicative host and friendly cleaner. If you are thinking of staying here, definitely do it!
