Fabulous property - perfect for all ages
We had the most incredible week staying in this beautiful house in late June. It definitely has the ‘Wow!’ factor, especially with the amazing pool. The weather was very hot (36 – 38C) during our stay and we spent a lot of time relaxing in and by the pool.
The house has everything you need to feel very much at home and the owner and housekeeper are very responsive if you have any questions.
The location is very private with stunning views from the pool. The village and surrounding area is beautiful but you do need a car to travel anywhere. We visited the lavender fields at Senanque Abbey and Sault – stunning! Roussillon and Gordes hilltop villages nearby are well worth a visit.
I can’t recommend this holiday home enough – we loved it so much the whole family has asked if we can stay there again!
Cabrieres d'Avignon is one of the less-visited and more authentic villages in the beautiful Luberon region. The honey-coloured centre of the village is self-sufficient with a small grocery store and bakery. Cabrieres also has public tennis courts and a children's playground, and 5 hectares of cedar forest with walking, bike and fitness trails. The village is notable as the launchpad for several hiking and biking trails into the beautiful countryside all around.
Cabrieres d'Avignon is well placed in the Luberon, 5 minutes from the stellar village of Gordes, and 2 minutes from all the shops and restaurants of Coustellet, as well as its Sunday morning farmers' market. It is a short drive to the other beautiful hill-top villages of the Luberon: Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Roussillon, Goult, Oppede-le-vieux, etc. as well as antiques capital L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and stunning Fontaine-de-Vaucluse to the west. Within an hour are the splendid Provence cities of Avignon, Arles, St-Remy, Aix-en-Provence, Nimes, Marseille, and the Rhone wine trail.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, 3 hours of cleaning each week, after-stay clean. Pool heating in May and October is 180 euros per week. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly clean with change of bedding and towels. Visitor tax is not included.
To book: 30% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: June to mid-September, 1-week minimum, from 5pm Saturday to 10am Saturday. Rest of year, 5 nights minimum.

A wonderful holiday
This is a special place, full of character and charm and evidently a much loved family home when not rented out. It’s simple and stylish in a very understated way, with incredibly comfortable bedrooms, lovely al fresco dining and seating areas and the most extraordinary huge pool with a lounging in the shallows area ideal for children. The location was great and the owner was unfailingly helpful in all our dealings. It was a fabulous holiday and we can’t really recommend it more. Happy days!

Never to be forgotten!
It was a delight to stay in thie beautiful home in the Luberon. We shared and enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen, and very much were awed by the beauty of the area, including the views from the pool area. The pool was a special treat as well. Thank you so much for this memorable experience in France, we will remember it always.
