A perfect base for exploring the Luberon!
We had an amazing time – the house was well equipped for our stay, in particular the kitchen area for those that enjoy taking advantage of the delicious food the region has to offer. We split our time exploring the local markets in the cooler mornings (for which this was a perfect base) and then relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. Syliva/Chris were on hand to answer any questions and very accommodating. Thoroughly recommend a visit!
Menerbes rises up like a ship from the sea of vineyards that run along the Luberon valley and is officially one of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France'. Menerbes has two levels. On the mid-level are restaurants, cafe, bakery and grocery store. And on the top level you can stroll past grand houses with magnificent views to north and south, as well as the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin (House of Wine and Truffles), where you can buy produce and also have lunch in the beautiful garden. Market day in Menerbes is Thursday mornings from April to October.
From Menerbes you can get to the other picture-perfect hill-top villages of the north Luberon within 15 minutes by car: Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux and Goult. Within an hour are the must-sees of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence and Arles.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean. Pool heating is included July-August and with a supplement May, June and September.
To book: 25% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 1 week minimum, from 5pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.
Refundable damage deposit: 1000 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 6.
Pets are not allowed at this property.

A truly beautiful house in the most wonderful setting.
This is our second stay and even better the second time around! The house is beautiful, but it is the gardens that really make it so special. From early morning coffees watching the sprinklers bringing the garden to life, to late afternoons with a glass of rosé listening to nature, there is something magical about the whole place.
It is one of those rare houses that everyone, whatever their age, completely loves. There is plenty of space to relax, the pool is wonderful and the gardens are just beautiful to wander around and enjoy.
And the kitchen deserves a special mention….the best-equipped kitchen anyone could wish for! I have googled the pans to order some! Everything you could possibly need was there, which made cooking and eating together such a pleasure.
We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay and would happily return. A very special place that we will remember fondly.

We loved the house, and thought the garden was stunning. We had a very comfortable stay despite the temperatures outside reaching 38̊˚C. The underfloor cooling system is very effective, and the house remained cool throughout our stay. Definitely the best kitted out house we have ever rented, you had everything we could need! A great base for exploring the Luberon – Gordes, Rousillon, Bonnieux all within a 20 minute drive.

This home exceeded our expectations in every way. It was simply stunning, both inside and outside. We were quite grateful for the wonderful kitchen and pizza oven, the exceptional views from so many vantage points, the proximity to a gorgeous village and everywhere we wanted to go, and the comfort of the home and pool despite record heat. We very much hope to return one day!

Words are hard to find to explain how truly special our stay was in Menerbes Vista.
The property is absolutely fabulous and the gardens pool and terraces ( of which there are plenty) are magical.
We couldn’t wait to return after days out in this beautiful part of the Luberon.
There is so much space to unwind and so many different places to relax and look at beautiful views from every angle.
We simply can’t wait to return. It is truly the most dreamy tranquil place to stay.
The outside kitchen area was brilliant we used the authentic pizza oven and had such a great time dining outside as the sunset over Menerbes.
The village is a gentle stroll or a really short drive so the location for us is perfect. The villa has everything you need and feels so Provençal. Thank you Hilde for letting us stay in your wonderful home.
