From the moment you arrive in this sunny setting, the landscape and calm are a delight. Then, no surprises, perfect exposure for terraces and the pool with vineyard views, awesome.

Chic decor, very contemporary with design objects.

Ergonomic and very well-equipped kitchen.

Three air-conditioned bedrooms with individual bathrooms (showers and bathtub).

Charming owners and very available in addition to the concierge, very attentive.

We recommend +++++++

PAOLO'S VIEW: “With three terraces on different levels all looking out over the vineyard and mountain view, it really makes the most of its setting. Plus you can easily walk to the wonderful village of Menerbes”

The Location
The house is set in rich countryside 1km (0.6 miles) from the village of Menerbes.

Menerbes rises up like a ship from the sea of vineyards that run along the Luberon valley and is officially one of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France'. Menerbes has two levels. On the mid-level are restaurants, cafe, bakery and grocery store. And on the top level you can stroll past grand houses with magnificent views to north and south, as well as the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin (House of Wine and Truffles), where you can buy produce and also have lunch in the beautiful garden. Market day in Menerbes is Thursday mornings from April to October.

From Menerbes you can get to the other picture-perfect hill-top villages of the north Luberon within 15 minutes by car: Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux and Goult. Within an hour are the must-sees of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence and Arles.

Very nice stay

We had a very pleasant stay with a family of 5. The property is located beautifully and close to Menerbes. At 1km from the town centre with easy access to restaurants and shops. The house was fully equipped and well maintained. A good variety of places to sit with various degrees of shade for the midday sun. Airconditioning worked well. We would definately consider a future visit.

Wonderful Stay!

This is truly a gem in the heart of the Luberon. Visually stunning and surrounded by vineyards, it was the perfect base for exploring Provence. We especially loved the beautiful pool, which was ideal for cooling off after a day of visiting the neighbouring villages.

One of the highlights was being able to walk into Ménerbes each evening for dinner at the town’s lovely restaurants, and then return in the morning for coffee and fresh pastries at the local café. The location is excellent for day trips and we highly recommend Cassis for its beautiful beach and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence for its market. Closer to home, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse is absolutely wonderful and not to be missed.

We also enjoyed browsing the local markets and cooking at the villa on several evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the BBQ made dining at home a pleasure. The villa offers the perfect combination of comfort and beauty. Highly recommended.

This villa is truly wonderful!

We stayed for three weeks and loved every minute. The view of the vineyard is just incredible, and we were so lucky to be there during the harvest. The location couldn’t be better—it’s a super easy 10-minute walk into Ménerbes, which is such a great little town with everything you need.

Pascale and David were so helpful, and David was there every other day to clean the pool and keep the place in great shape. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and while the house is older and has its quirks, the view alone makes it all worth it! Just a heads-up that the third bedroom is on a different level and you have to go outside to get to it. This actually worked out perfectly for us, since our kids’ noise didn’t bother their grandparents.

A big thank you to David and Pascale for an amazing stay. We hope to visit again soon!
