This was the perfect place to stay with friends and family. It is wonderfully presented and in a fantastic location to explore both Lourmarin and the Luberon in general. Lots of delicious food and wine, sun, laughter and comfort. Merci beaucoup!
Lourmarin is one of the star villages of the Luberon, characterised by the lively restaurants and cafes spilling onto the street in the centre, with boutiques and food stores in medieval winding streets. It has a beautifully preserved castle to visit, which hosts various events through the year. And under the castle is a great wine cellar for tasting and buying local wines. On Friday mornings, Lourmarin hosts a great weekly market.
Lourmarin is a wonderful base, and from there you are close to other south Luberon villages like Cucuron and Ansouis, and 20-30 minutes from the beautiful hill-top villages of the north Luberon like Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Menerbes, Goult, Oppede-le-vieux, etc. Within 45-90 minutes are the splendid Provence cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, St-Remy, as well as swimming beaches, the Camargue, Marseille, and the Rhone wine trail.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly clean of kitchen and bathrooms with change of bedding and towels. Visitor tax is not included. Pool heating is included in July-August, and available with a supplement in May, June and September.
To book: 25% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 4 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 1-week minimum, from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.
Refundable damage deposit: 800 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 8.
Dogs would be considered at this property with additional 300 euros damage deposit.
All properties are non-smoking.
Simply the best
We had the best time in Pascal’s House. It had everything we required to enjoy a blissful week in Lourmarin. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by all of us. Long hot summer days don’t get better than this. Francine (Home manager) was always on hand to help us – and was an incredibly helpful guide to the local area. We’ll be back !
The house was perfect
Great stay at Pascal’s house! The house was perfect, with everything we needed—very pleasant to live in, and a truly amazing outdoor area. The pool was a delight for both children and adults. The garden is magnificent, even better than in the photos! The location is great: in the heart of the village, close to everything, ideal for exploring the region. A big thank you to Francine (the house manager) for her warm welcome, her good advice, and her big smile. We recommend this house 100%!
A delightful house
Rental for 2 families in this great house. Separated at night, all together the rest of the day. The house is warm, private, and very well equipped (kitchen, technical sheets, etc.). The parking is a real plus. Pascal was very available until our arrival. Francine welcomed us warmly and was always very responsive. Thank you for the welcome basket and for this interlude in this house full of history.
