We spent a fabulous week at Villa Ansouis. The house is beautiful on the inside and out. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and the kitchen is great for cooking meals with all the fabulous food products you can find in the area. We loved walking to the boulangerie for breakfast and exploring Ansouis as well as the other villages in the area. We attended an outdoor concert at a beautiful winery down the road and spent a lot of time lounging around the pool and in the yard which is perfectly kept. It’s a dream vacation spot and we’d love to return.

We stayed at Villa Ansouis for a week in August and absolutely loved it! We were greeted by Teny who was friendly and showed us around the house. The home itself was very comfortable and updated. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make delicious meals. We loved the pool as well which had a beautiful view of the valley and was surrounded by tall trees and flowers. We also really enjoyed the location – literally a two-minute walk from the village bakery as well as a five-minute walk to the cafe and pastry shop and a decent small grocery store. We ate a wonderful dinner at Le Grain de Sel in the village which had amazing food and service. We shopped at Le panier en Luberon, a great store about a 5-minute drive from the house selling fresh vegetables and fruit, cheeses and meats. We were so happy with our stay and would come back! We would definitely recommend Villa Ansouis for a stay with family and friends.

We had a great stay at Villa Ansouis. The house was perfect, clean, comfortable and met all our needs. The village of Ansouis is delightful and Lourmarin is a great place nearby for an evening out.

Villa Ansouis is a dream. We usually return to the Luberon twice per year to visit family and friends, and have rented quite a few lovely homes – Villa Ansouis stands out in many ways. The villa has such charm, with the character of the old farm house so beautifully restored and integrated into an elegant, and yet also cozy, and well organized home, with all the modern creature comforts one could need. The garden, patios and pool are splendid, and as well cared for as the house. Everything is as pictured, spotlessly clean, the linen and towels are of wonderful quality, the mattresses heavenly, the bathrooms too are beautiful, and the kitchen is very well appointed. Also note-worthy is the office, for those who need to withdraw to a quiet place to work. Quite simply, the villa feels like a home, which lends itself to one feeling like a guest, as opposed to a tenant. It is in this spirit that the owners receive one with such care, and communicate with such promptness, as is true of the manager of the house, and the staff (the housekeepers/cleaners, the gardener, and the pool cleaner). We very much look forward to returning to Villa Ansouis next summer. Un grand merci à tous!
