Small paradise in Provence
Our stay at this beautiful holiday home in Provence was simply wonderful – and far too short. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed: the house is not only stylish and tastefully furnished, but also radiates a special warmth and attention to detail. You can truly feel the love that went into creating this place.
The pool was an absolute highlight – perfect for relaxing after a day full of new impressions. The surroundings are just as welcoming as the house itself: charming villages, stunning landscapes, and so much to explore that we wished we could have stayed longer.
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful hosts, whose kindness, helpfulness, and attention made our stay absolutely perfect. We felt welcome from the very first moment.
We will definitely come back – it was an unforgettable time in a place that has truly captured our hearts.
Close by are other beautiful, perched, hilltop villages: Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede le vieux, Menerbes, Goult, etc. all within 15 minutes. From Bonnieux you are by the cleft in the Luberon mountain that gives you access to the south side: more gorgeous villages like Lourmarin, Cucuron, Ansouis and Cadenet to explore, 20 minutes away, and beyond these, the fine city of Aix-en-Provence.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, visitor tax, after-stay clean. The pool can be heated on request for a charge of 150 euros/week. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly change of bedding and towels.
To book: 50% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 2 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 1-week minimum, from 5pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.
Refundable damage deposit: 1500 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 8 people, wth minimum age of 8.
Dogs would be accepted at this property, subject to agreement.
All properties are non-smoking.
A Wonderful Home
You know sometimes you walk into a place and instantly think ‘yes, this is the one’? This is how we felt walking into the house. It is spacious, inviting, warm and relaxing. The house itself is well designed with everything where you’d want it to be and fitted out with the highest quality materials and appliances. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and the bathrooms (something I care about a lot) are beautifully done.
The outdoor areas are huge and save. Our two children (6 and 4) loved running around and playing. The pool is large and warm and a fantastic seating area above it to relax. The location was great. You can’t walk into a town but it’s a 6 minute drive into Bonnieux and because it’s so central in the Luberon everywhere is easily accessible.
The owners were a pleasure to deal with as was the housekeeper who was always available to answer questions and help out. Staying here was exactly what we needed for a break. A perfect place for our family in one of our favorite locations.
The only downside? We were too late to book for next year!
Wonderful stay at Bonnieux in Luberon
We stayed in the beautifully decorated house with 8 people located in the wonderful area of Luberon. The location is surrounded by various charming villages. Just next to the house is the bicycle track. The area allows you to make nice velotrips to different villages.
The house is perfectly equipped. It offers multiple options for dinner settings. The rooms have all ensuite bathrooms. There is a beautiful courtyard which invites for aperitif. The garden is also wonderful, has all the herbs of the Provence to be used for your food. On the markets which are every day in different villages you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits. The swimmingpool is big enough to really swim. It was a relaxing wonderful holiday. We would love to come back soon.

Tasteful paradise in Luberon
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bonnieux. The house captivates with its beautiful architecture and peaceful setting. The inviting pool, the elegantly designed courtyard with dining area, and the excellently equipped kitchen made our stay especially pleasant. Comfortable beds and the tasteful décor rounded off the experience. It was a wonderful time – thank you very much!
Perfect Villa and a perfect holiday
We stayed as a family of 6 in this delightful home. The house and grounds are simply stunning, beautifully designed with every possible attention to detail, very well equipped, but also very comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious, cool and relaxing, each with an en-suite. The pool was a highlight after the heat of exploring the local hill top villages and markets, and many peaceful afternoons were spent there, under the pergola or eating at the courtyard table…an amazing experience and having visited this area for the past decade, this property exceeded all that has been before!
Communication with the owner and staff made the arrival /departure especially easy. We would thoroughly recommend, and hope to return soon.
