Absolutely Fabulous Property
We adored this place! First the location is absolutely perfect. It has the most stunning views, it is incredibly private and peaceful, yet just a short walk into the wonderful town of Lourmarin. Nature at its finest. Second, the house itself is fabulous. There are numerous outdoor spaces to gather, relax and eat. Whether looking for sun or shade there is always the perfect spot. Mornings in the sun room were perfect. It has three modern baths and good kitchen. Great communication and help from the very pleasant house manager, Teny. This house will not disappoint….in my opinion better than its pictures. And to repeat, the stunning view of the valley from the poolside is magical. I will miss it.
Lourmarin is one of the star villages of the Luberon, characterised by the lively restaurants and cafes spilling onto the street in the centre, with boutiques and food stores in medieval winding streets. It has a beautifully preserved castle to visit, which hosts various events through the year. And under the castle is a great wine cellar for tasting and buying local wines. On Friday mornings, Lourmarin hosts a great weekly market.
Lourmarin is a wonderful base, and from there you are close to other south Luberon villages like Cucuron and Ansouis, and 20-30 minutes from the beautiful hill-top villages of the north Luberon like Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste, Menerbes, Goult, Oppede-le-vieux, etc. Within 45-90 minutes are the splendid Provence cities of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Arles, St-Remy, as well as swimming beaches, the Camargue, Marseille, and the Rhone wine trail.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, after-stay clean. Pool heating is an additional 150 euros/week from end-June to end-August, and 250 euros/week in other periods (excluding Xmas).
To book: 30% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 21 days before arrival.
Rental periods: 1-week minimum, 5pm Saturday to 12pm Saturday.
Refundable damage deposit: 1000 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 8.
Dogs would be considered at this property, with additional charge of 300 euros/week.
All properties are non-smoking.

Home away from home feeling. Great location with privacy but close to Lourmarin. Nice house configuration with a lot of space.
Beautiful views
A well equipped and lovely country house, close to Lourmarin and all it offers. The pool and views over vineyards make this a great place to stay.
