Fantastic villa! Fantastic views! Fantastic location!

We rented this villa for a week in late August for a big family get together with ages 5 months to 70 years. All had a wonderful time.

The villa is in an outstanding location. It has incredible views out across the Luberon but is also just a few minutes walk from the middle of Roussillon. It’s very nice to be able to wander into town to grab a drink or fresh croissant or just to take in the beauty of the town.

The villa is well appointed with modern decor and everything works well. The kitchen in particular are well equipped – we were able to make several big family meals very easily.

The owner is an outstanding host – very responsive by email and always going the extra mile to ensure our needs and concerns were addressed.

Highly recommended.

PAOLO'S VIEW: “A contemporary villa that ticks the boxes: heated pool, a/c, panoramic Luberon view, and a fantastic location on the doorstep of an iconic village”

The Location
The house is on the edge of Roussillon, 5 minutes' walk to all the village amenities.

Roussillon is one of the most stunning villages in France, a hill-top village known and loved for its amazing palette of ochre colours. Roussillon is also well served with amenities - restaurants and cafes, grocery, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, small specialist stores, galleries and a weekly market on Thursday mornings.

Other nearby hilltop villages include Menerbes, Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux, and Goult, all within 20 minutes' drive. From this base you can explore the Luberon, its villages and markets, and close by you will find Avignon, l'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Les Baux-de-Provence, St Remy, Aix-en-Provence, Arles, Nimes, Marseille, none more than 80 minutes away.

Absolutely stunning property and location in Provence. Easily fit our group of ten guests w lots of private spaces and terraces for people to also find a quiet nook. Walking distance to downtown where one can find all sorts of stores and supplies. Well appointed for bathrooms but many have no sink just toilet. I think this is common but a little to get used to.

Fully set up kitchen made for easy dinners together after a day at the local markets where fresh produce, bread, cheese, cured meats, and rotisserie chickens are abundant. Dishwasher and all appliances worked as advertised.

Heated pool was still quite cold for some in our group for a morning swim but was refreshing for a late afternoon dip. Overall a wonderful place.

This is a wonderful villa in a picturesque setting. I understand why so many legendary artists were inspired by Provence.
