Beautiful home
We absolutely loved our stay, the house is beautifully set with gorgeous views. Menerbes is just a short walk away which we found very convenient. Highly recommend
Menerbes rises up like a ship from the sea of vineyards that run along the Luberon valley and is officially one of 'The Most Beautiful Villages of France'. Menerbes has two levels. On the mid-level are restaurants, cafe, bakery and grocery store. And on the top level you can stroll past grand houses with magnificent views to north and south, as well as the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin (House of Wine and Truffles), where you can buy produce and also have lunch in the beautiful garden. Market day in Menerbes is Thursday mornings from April to October.
From Menerbes you can get to the other picture-perfect hill-top villages of the north Luberon within 15 minutes by car: Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon, Lacoste, Oppede-le-vieux and Goult. Within an hour are the must-sees of Avignon, Aix-en-Provence, St-Remy, Les Baux-de-Provence and Arles.
Included in the rates: utilities, bedlinen, towels, WiFi internet, visitor tax, after-stay clean. For stays of 2 weeks or more there is a weekly clean with change of bedding and towels.
To book: 25% booking deposit, with the balance payment due 8 weeks before arrival.
Rental periods: 1-week minimum, rental periods usually run from Saturday 5pm to Saturday 10am.
Refundable damage deposit: 800 euros.
Cancellation: if you have to cancel, we will try to re-book your dates, and refund the amount recovered (minus bank charges).
Maximum occupancy: 6 + 1 child. Minimum age of 5.
Pets would not be accepted at this property.

Beautiful stay, we’d love to return!
We had a wonderful stay in Ménerbes. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout, and the house truly felt like a home away from home. The peaceful setting and beautiful views—both from inside the house and outdoors—made it the perfect place to relax.
Ménerbes was ideal for us: small, quiet and charming, while still offering lovely restaurants, nearby wineries and delicious ice cream. A wonderful base for enjoying the Luberon!
Beautiful villa with amazing view
We stayed one week during July in this very nice Provence villa in Menerbes. The house is very spacious and comfortable and offers several places like teraces to spent time. Also the quality of the furniture and bathrooms is very valuable.
The pool is awesome and big (11m!) and the kids loved it. From the pool terrace you have fantastic view over the Provence landscape. The garden is big and you can’t see or hear any neighbors.
The house is perfect to discover the beautiful area in Luneron and have a luxurious home to stay.
We can definitely recommend and will come back next year!
A lovely property
We had an idyllic two weeks in this lovely property. The house is spacious and well-equipped; the facilities and furnishings are of high quality; the grounds are extensive and beautifully maintained; the pool is a delight and the views are unforgettable. We spent our two weeks here without a car and never felt we needed one; the village is only a few minutes’ walk away and is well provided with cafes and restaurants. Isabel and Andreas were exemplary owners and all the arrangements were extremely straightforward. We would highly recommend this property.
Wonderful house and garden in stunning location
We had the most amazing stay with our children at Volets Rouges, the house is extremely comfortable, stylish and everything is of very high quality, the pictures hardly do it justice! The owner and the local agent were both extremely kind and helpful, which is most important when on holidays. The garden and pool were a highlight, as were all the wonderful spaces they have created outdoors to enjoy nature with a book or a glass of something…the short walk to the magnificent village of Ménérbes is very easy and most pleasant. A wonderful, timeless home, with a sense of being close to nature throughout, a pleasure to occupy for one short week…Top marks all round!
